This is what 13 looks like!
Isn't Hannah beautiful?!

Hannah spent Saturday with her dad in Provo, UT. They traveled to UT for a BYU football game. Before the game they stopped by and saw my grandpa Healy. Hannah has always had a special connection with grandpa Healy. Hannah had a great time visiting with her dad in the truck and watching the game with him. It made us realize that we need (especially him) more one on one time with each of our children.
We woke Hannah up from a blissful slumber about 10 a.m. with breakfast in bed. This has been a long standing tradition with our children and one that they look forward to. It is nice to have a late church schedule. Breakfast was served on the birthday plate that I made at "Hands-On". It actually resembles the wonder bread bag so we call it the wonder bread plate!
Here are some happy girls wishing Hannah a happy birthday in bed.
"Heavy heavy hangover thy poor head. What do you wish with a bump on the head?" Where that came from is a mystery to me. It is just something we always did in my family. Once my brother Ryan gave me a garbage bag full of trash. Not funny.....
Hannah got a lot of nice gifts and we only have to return a few. My mom got her Jon Schmidt's latest CD with the song "Love story meets Love Story" on it. Melissa has been waiting for the sheet music to come out for months now. She also got some books (Ripley's believe it or not - she has got a new one every year since 2006), journals, clothes, jacket, jewelry and make-up. She is too cute here in her new jacket.
You may be asking yourself why Hannah is laughing so hard. Well it really is Melissa's fault because she was playing Christmas music through-out the day and when we got ready to sing "Happy Birthday," I started out by singing "We wish you a Happy Birthday, we wish you a Happy Birthday...." I knew something was wrong but couldn't quite figure it out until the second we wish you... Everyone thought that it was too funny.
Hannah is such a great kid and is always thinking about others. No matter what the situation is Hannah looks for the rainbows. She cheers for the underdog and is sensitive to those around her. She loves and respects her grandparents and her parents. What a choice spirit she is. We love you Hannah! Happy 13th Birthday!
Allison is very excited that it is her birthday next but time has no meaning to her. Shouldn't it be her birthday tomorrow since she is next in the family to have one? We tried explaining to her yesterday that her birthday is AFTER Christmas and today she woke up and said "Is it my birthday now?"
