Staci's Life: Camping Trip #3 - Palmer Family Reunion

Our Palmer reunion on July 7th - 9th had many adventures. The first adventure was the drive in. The roads were narrow and very rough. You just prayed that no one would be coming for the other direction because it was basically a one lane deal on a steep mountain. One our way out we passed two vehicles and I didn't like looking out my window to see sheer cliff below. We camped near Oakley reservoir about as far down a dirty, dusty road that you could go.
The second adventure began when Jaime arrived with her family. She said that she had been having contractions for about a hour and thought maybe they should head towards the hospital (she was two weeks early). So they unloaded their trailer and kids and off they went, with my parents not far behind. Everyone pitched in and help take care of Lucas and Taylor. Their older cousins spoiled them rotten of course! The girls even slept with Taylor in the William's trailer. The third adventure was when the William's trailer fell off of the blocks at 2 in the morning and sent the girls screaming from the trailer into my mom and dad's trailer which was vacant (they sat in the hospital waiting for Jaime to have her baby all night). Through all the craziness Steve didn't secure the trailer jacks in the back which caused some instability.Imagine that.
The next day we took the kids boating while the rest of the Palmer die hards went fishing. (Well most of them anyway.) Jeremy and Whitney got the biggest fish while Jayden came in a close third. Cade Williams was born on the 8th at 8:59 a.m., 6pds 14 ozs, 20 in. long. Both mom and baby did great.
