Christmas Eve day was so LONG for the kids. They could hardly wait for the day to be over. Rachel expressed over and over again how bored she was. Here are some pictures of how they occupied their time during the day. Jaime, Steve and Lucas joined us for the evening. We went to the cemetery and sung songs at my brother's grave, ate a great dinner at home and as we were acting out the Christmas story Santa Claus came! Allie was not able to go and see Santa at our ward Christmas party because she was sick and she said that this year she was going to sit on his lap. WRONG! She wanted nothing to do with him. Lucas wasn't too sure about the big guy in the red suit either! We watched a great music video of Christ's birth and life downstairs while Lucas played drums on our fireplace. The kids opened up their gifts to each other and their new pj's. The younger 4 slept in Abby and Allie's room while the older two opted to sleep in their own beds. Allie was concerned about making sure we set out milk and cookies for Santa and she was also wondering if Santa could stay and watch a movie when he came to deliver the toys. Abby was TOO EXCITED this year and swears that she heard stomping and jingle bells outside.
