What is up with this weather?

I am growing very tired of spring in Idaho, or is it winter in Idaho? I can handle the snow and the rain but the wind is killing me! We have had like straight wind for the past 3 weeks with one or two days of slight windy days mixed in there. It hasn't been your typical spring wind either but it is arctic, gale force wind and I am frankly quite tired of it! The weeds are thriving at our homes because we never have a calm enough day to spray! Stinkin' wind.
